The obituary of Mr. Felix Gilbert Mr. Felix "Bogger" Grundy Gilbert, 60, of Elisha's Creek, Red Bird, Clay Co., departed this life on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard,KY. He was born on June 14, 1954 at Marcum, KY, the son of the late George & Georgia Estep Gilbert. Mr. Felix Gilbert was a Veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne. After having served in the military, by occupation he was a long haul truck driver for Save-A-Lot Grocery. Felix enjoyed farming, especially working with his tractor, mechanic work and his dog "Little Bit". He was a life-long resident of Clay County, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents George & Georgia Estep Gilbert, brother: Larry Gilbert, three daughters: Brianna, Samantha and Misty. He leaves surviving the following relatives, loving and devoted wife: Martha Dennise Griffin Gilbert of Big Creek, KY, son: Felix Grundy Gilbert II and Jennifer of Big Creek, KY, daughter: Felicia Dennise Asher & Troy Brandon of Big Creek, KY, brother: Larry Wayne Gilbert & Carla of Jackson County, KY, three sisters: Glenna Sizemore & Mike Shaw of Indiana, Julia Nolan of London, KY, Hilda Hacker & Carl of Big Creek, KY, two grandchildren: Braxton Cooper Asher and Natalie Reagan Asher, Special Nieces: Kristy Roark, Special Nephews: Brandon Hacker & Seth Griffin. Felix is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
