She passed away at her resident on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 62 years, 2 months & 18 days. Norma was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., by occupation she was a former employee for the Leslie Co. PVA office for 15 years. Norma was affliated with the Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening & loved animals (especially her dog, Scrappy). Norma Jean King was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl & Susie Hacker Smith, 3 brothers, Vernon, Bobby & Don Smith, 2 nephews, Delaney Morgan & Michael Wayne Smith & brother-in-law, Harold Morgan She leaves the following relatives surviving, 2 sons, Greg Feltner & Robin of Avawam, KY. & Michael King & fiance', Nikayla of Essie, KY., 1 daughter, Janet Michelle King & fiance', Derek Schafer of Essie, KY., 2 brothers, Orville Smith & Janice of Essie, KY. & Kenneth Smith & Hester of Mason, Ohio, 2 sisters, Rose Morgan & Berlin of Essie, Ky. & Bernadine Morgan of London, KY. 7 grandchildren, Kaitlin Hill, Cheyenne King, Alexis Taylor Feltner, Harlan Daniel Osborne, Chloe Pennington, William Logan Feltner & Landon Wade King, 1 great-grand-daughter, Kaylee Marie Hill, special friends, Sheila Smith, Melissa Hill, Roger Nickel & Lisa Whicker, also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
