Jeff Farmer

Mr. Jeff "Hawk" Farmer, 80 of 14492 South Hwy.#421, Manchester, KY., passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. He was born at Bear Branch, Kentucky the son of the late Felix Farmer and the late Minnie Carmack Farmer. By occupation, he was a retired truck driver having worked for Shamrock Coal Company. Jeff "Hawk" Farmer was affiliated with the Couch's Fork Church of God and had been a life-long resident of Leslie and Clay counties. Hawk enjoyed spending time with his family whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents: Felix and Minnie Farmer, one son: Rodford Farmer, two brothers: E.L. Farmer and Jr. Farmer, two sisters: Annie Farmer and Jean Holland. Hawk leaves surviving his loving & devoted wife, Florence Couch Farmer of Manchester, KY, four daughters: Deena Couch of Manchester, KY, Phyllis Sparks & Bobby Joe of Manchester, KY, Brenda Farmer of Manchester, KY, Donna Gibson & Jeff of Lily, KY, one brother: Gilbert Farmer of Florida, one sister: Martha Marcum of California, four grandchildren: Jeff Couch & Heather, Robby Sparks & Misty Posey, Steven Sparks and Candis Miller , one step granddaughter: Amanda Taylor & Jonathan, eight great grandchildren.
